A Web Browser is a piece of software that runs on your machine and shows you documents.
It obtains these documents by sending a request to a Web Server. The exact request
is encoded in the URL, and may then be further accompanied by other data (if it's
a POST).
Originally the request to the Web Server would be for a static page, usually written
in HTML.
